Next.js on Pantheon Is Now Generally Available

Pantheon now runs your CMS and modern frontends under one roof. On April 14, 2026 Pantheon announced the general availability of managed Next.js on its WebOps platform — moving teams away from fragmented, multi-vendor stacks toward one system where fleets of WordPress, Drupal, and Next.js sites are managed in one place.

It's one dashboard, one workflow, and one contract. Developers get a single Git workflow and the Terminus CLI to manage the CMS and frontend as one, with real-time GitHub build syncing, automated CI/CD, Secrets Management, and Multidev environments that test every pull request before production. Marketers move content in parallel with code: Content Publisher syncs Google Docs and Microsoft Word straight to the Next.js frontend — no dev ticket required — while integrated caching and a global CDN keep load times sub-second.

Next.js on Pantheon is generally available for teams at the Gold tier and above.
